Don’t get it twisted: we love a nice warm plate of cevapi from Ćevabdžinica Željo, but sometimes we just like to be a little extra and visit a restaurant where we can get an aesthetically-pleasing Instagram photo. Basic (we know), but we promise these places actually DO have amazing food and kahva.
1. Espresso Lab
If you’re in the mood to visit quite possibly the most modern, trendiest coffee shop in the city, then look no further than Espresso Lab. There are a wide range of drinks available, so if traditional kahva just isn’t doing it for you, there’s definitely something else for you to try.

2. Talks & Giggles
Brunch is becoming a worldwide phenomenon, even in Bosnia. Talks & Giggles has got all kinds of charm with its cozy interior, fruity drinks, and scrumptious sweets.

We love a good dessert, and you’ll be happy to hear that this restaurant offers just about everything you could imagine. Whether you’ve got a craving for pasta or for Mexican food, Metropolis can help with that.

4. Marshall’s Gelato
So stinkin’ cute, right? Gelato + kahva = the makings of a perfect afternoon, all thanks to Marshall’s Gelato.

5. Milky Sarajevo
We couldn’t help but think of Milky Sarajevo after seeing this photo of Dzejna Radmilovic admiring their Kinder Bueno palačinke. But seriously, you can’t go wrong with a scrumptious plate of Nutella-filled goodness.

It’s not just about the food, it’s about the views at Caffe Kamarija. Grab your favorite warm beverage and enjoy the sunset (or sunrise) at this charming spot.

We had to include Kimono because it’s one of the few places you can get sushi in the city. They have a good selection, too — definitely a must if you feel like breaking away from the traditional food for a meal, at least.

9. Čajdžinica Džirlo
You must have a cup of tea at this ornately decorated shop. Who knows, maybe the sweet, bearded man will even be there to serve it to you.

Probably the classiest of them all, Spazio delivers tasty coffee and even more gourmet cuisine — we heard the pizza is worth every penny!
